MAKEY MAKEY
In this subject, I have also learned the tool Makey Makey: an interactive creation platform that allows you to turn practically any everyday object into a touch interface for a computer.
Makey Makey works as a circuit board that connects to a computer via a USB cable. The board has several terminals that can be connected to conductive objects using alligator clip cables. These objects become "buttons" that, when touched, send signals to the computer, simulating keystrokes or mouse movements.
In the case of my group, to design our own remote control, we decided to use a piece of cardboard where we drew arrows pointing right, left, up, and down, and attached the alligator clips to aluminum foil. With this creation, we were able to play the game "Fireboy and Watergirl in the Forest Temple," where the characters need to move right and left and jump to reach the door that leads to the next level.
Makey Makey is a tool used in schools across various disciplines and educational levels to promote creativity and invention by integrating electronics and programming in an accessible and fun way.
